While I’m willing to WEAR clothes made by children… I’m unwilling to SELL clothing made by children. This - http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2012/02/mac-mcclelland-free-online-shipping-warehouses-labor - makes me never want to order from Amazon again. What a freaking nightmare.

Here’s the good news… I’m a one-man-band for all of my “merch.” http://twitpic.com/9nq6o7  http://www.jackiekashian.com/store.php

PS I know I will order from Amazon again… I’m a hypocrite not a liar.

It’s hard, but I have been successful SO FAR steering clear of Amazon since the stories about them parking ambulances outside of the warehouse to take care of workers suffering from heat exhaustion last summer.

http://teamsternation.blogspot.com/2011/09/amazon-warehouse-ambulances-wait.html

I am VERY DISAPPOINTED that many of my favorite podcasters are using Amazon purchases as a way we can help fund the podcasts we love. Jackie Kashian (The Dork Forest) is NOT one of them. This is yet another reason why she is my hero.

First pack of downloadable and printable Whoflake patterns: (x)

On special order and because I haven’t done any in ages. A few words of advice: The Cyberman is smaller than the rest, because it is intended for a smaller snowflake; the others will comfortably fit an A4 sheet. You might have to fiddle a bit before you get it printed properly for folding, but since that’s largely individual printing preferences I’ll leave it up to you. Oh, and mind the Ood’s tentacles. Just see how well you can cut before you accidentally slice their heads of. It makes for a very unattractive death. I lined it because it’s the the one where folding it properly is hardest, but the lines should all disappear with cutting.

For those who are interested, here is how I make the snowflakes.

And now, have fun! (And I’d love to see what you did with them!)
